On December 27th, the United States Army officially annexed the country of Canada, making Canada the 51st US state. This was a huge surprise across the entire world, including comments from Vladimir Putin, King Charles III, Justin Treadeu, Donald Trump, and many others. President Trump had publicly said before that he wanted to make Canada the 51st state, but many thought that this was a hoax, and that Trump wouldn’t go through with it. Every one of those people were wrong. Trump successfully led the United States into annexing its neighbor. Before the war broke out, the idea was totally insane, but now it seems like acquiring Canada might actually be a good thing for this country. Getting the country would benefit the United States’ economy, while also bringing lots of oil. Before this, over 50% of Canadians said they wanted to become a US state, although the same was not said for Canadian leader Justin Treadeu. “Our citizens wanted to join [the United States], but it just wasn’t something we could go along with.” This new change of power for Canada means that they will receive 2 seats in the Senate. These 2 seats will most likely be liberal representation, as Canada is known for being more democratically elected.
