Yesterday, it was reported that “The Onion,” a well known media company, succeeded in their long term efforts to sue fellow newspaper brand, “The Radish.”
After a hard couple months of trying and failing to exploit their competitors, Radish news, for supposedly plagiarizing the news titles. Despite the Radish CEO, Dismas Donato, making the point that they are real life titles, and that news companies all want to report interesting and big news. This was shot down by Bryce P. Tetraeder’s point, saying that both of the articles were posted within 3 hours of each other. In response to this, Dismas Donato says, “What if you're plagiarizing us?” After many more days of back and forth, and The Onion almost getting sued instead , Bryce P. Tetraeder shoots back the same question: “What if you're plagiarizing us?” With that, The Radish is sued for $10,000. But there’s still one thing to say. Is this real? No, it is all a joke and I just wanted to waste a minute of your life.
